My MA degree show

In what way can mark making reclaim the visualisation of music through print based media?

I spent a year at UWE Bristol completing an MA in Graphic Design.
If you didn't know by now I am a professional music lover, and I knew that for my degree show it had to be music related.

I am mainly a digital designer, so I took this as an opportunity to move away from this, and make a hands on project.
I wanted to make a project where others can be involved, and to have a project where you can make something so simple and turn into... a record shop.

This project is made by drawing to 15 different songs of all different genres.

I made interactive cards, so people can listen and draw in the other side. and made vinyl records, and designed on a larger scale, all screen printed.

It was so successful, it was amazing to see people interact with the project, take pics, tell me how much they loved the idea.

I'm so happy with this project, and it's always nice to see hard work pay off.
